PhirSe means again - but better

Backstory

The concept for the brand originated from observing the substantial environmental impact of the footwear industry, coupled with the rising trend of fast fashion.

While sneakers serve as a symbol of identity and lifestyle, they are often produced using unsustainable materials and processes, resulting in significant carbon emissions and waste. This has made the need for sustainable sneakers and responsible footwear more important than ever.

As a designer, the aim was to challenge this system by creating a brand that harmonizes aesthetics, performance, and responsibility, without compromising on design appeal.

The Gap

There’s a clear disparity between what brands claim about sustainability and what they actually deliver.

Many companies engage in superficial sustainability (greenwashing), where eco-friendly messaging lacks transparency. In the growing market of sustainable fashion and eco-friendly sneakers, authenticity and accountability remain limited.

Brand Philosophy

PhirSe does not follow trends, PhirSe resets them.

PhirSe is built on one simple idea: do it again, but do it better.

It stands for giving materials, systems, and habits a second life. In an industry driven by fast fashion and landfill waste, PhirSe chooses responsibility over convenience by focusing on recycled materials and conscious production.

Design & Culture

PhirSe blends sustainability with strong design inspired by Indian street culture and grassroots energy.

It is confident, slightly rebellious, and unafraid to challenge the “use and throw” mindset. By combining modern aesthetics with eco-conscious design, PhirSe represents a new wave of sustainable sneaker brands.

PhirSe is not just about selling sneakers. It is about shifting mindset.

PhirSe is worn with purpose.
PhirSe is chosen consciously.
PhirSe means again, but better.
